Removing an App
Ensure all your changes adhere to the Change Management Process.
#
Birdbrain- Remove your Hub app's BirdBrain entry
#
Permissions- Contact Identity and Auth and find out whether any permissions were specifically created for it
- If there are, determine whether any HUB apps are referencing them
- They will decide which permissions will then go into "deprecation" state
- Remove these permissions from the permissions.json
#
Services#
Hub v1- If there are endpoints also being removed, they need to be removed from the
endpoints.es6.js
file in Hubcommon - The endpoints need to be removed from the build scripts in two places:
- Wolfpack will deploy the new build scripts after the PR has been approved.
#
Navigation- You will need to remove entries for your app from applications.json
#
References- Run a global repo search in GitHub and search for keywords related to your application's name
- You'll want to remove external links to your application along with any other possible reference
#
Bundle- The app files are located at
D:\home\site\wwwroot\{YOUR_APPS_NAME}\
on the Hub app service - Request the removal of this folder
